Monday, July 21, 2014. My new bulletin board and a tutorial. One of the things on the top of my summer to-do list was to give my bulletin board outside of my room a facelift. I was a little rushed for time and had to put up my bulletin board fairly quickly. I also have them hanging from my classroom ceiling.

As a positive reinforcement in my classroom I tell students to kiss their brains when they are giving an appropriate answer or displaying a positive attitude! Each summer, before setting up and decorating my classroom for the next group of students that I will have the privilege to teach, I look back at photos of my past classrooms. Why do I do this? Simply to help inspire and motivate me for the hours and hours of work that lay ahead - in order to be ready for that all important first day of school.
